We gather in divine devotion and remembrance, offering to Great Mother--honoring our ancestors and generations to come, the elixir of life: pure, embodied love.

Love tends to the soul in all her majesty: the wounds, dark nights, grief, effervescence, joy, and beauty--so that she can flourish and share her gifts with the world.

In each gathering Venus will lead a cycle check in—honoring all phases of the womb, followed by a womb meditation and Goddess activation.

One sister will be featured to share her medicine with us as an offering for the evening. This is her craft, her passion, her magic; what she is in sacred devotion to that heals the collective in her own unique way.

Silk Fan Dancing

Tapping into our inner child.  Play is the theme of this offering.  We will begin with guided movements to warm up and connect with our body.  Then shift into connecting with the fans.  We will cover the basics of how to hold, open, close the fan, fundamental techniques and movement exploration.  We will have some play time at the end!  Open to beginners, no dance experience required, fans provided.

BIO:

Karen experienced what it was like to tap into flow for the first time when the soft graceful silk fabric called her yin energy forward. What started as pure curiosity with fan dancing blossomed into an art form. Silk fans have taught her how to slow down, be present, expand and take up space. 

A natural mover and shaker that gets inspired by good music, she gravitates towards yoga, tai chi and different styles of dance.
